4D Constructivist Studies

Compositions built from rotations and projections of the four dimensional simplex.

The 4-dimensional simplex is the simplest polytope in four dimensions, analogous to the triangle in two dimensions and the tetrahedron in three. These compositions, inspired by early 20th-century Constructivism, are constructed from a single 4D simplex and a single light source. A static virtual camera captures glimpses of the glass-shaded object, its glowing edges, and reflections as it rotates in 4D space and is projected into 3D.
